BodyTalk in Kenya

By Alexis Scott

I am very pleased to report that the BodyTalk Kenya matrix received a great boost recently. On April 9, 2010 Dr. John Veltheim gave a public lecture on The BodyTalk System to approximately 120 people in Nairobi. The lecture was held at the Lois Leakey Auditorium in the National Museum of Kenya.

In addition to BodyTalk clients, students, and practitioners, the lecture was attended by many medical and health care practitioners as well as the general public. People traveled from Mombasa, Nanyuki and other outlying cities in order to be present at the public talk. There were even some Tanzanians who traveled from Arusha and Zanzibar in the audience.

Dr. Veltheim was mesmerizing and very entertaining as usual. Several people commented in one way or another that they were “blown away” by his presentation and would definitely be following up to find out more about The BodyTalk System by way of sessions and opportunities for training courses.

Currently the Kenya maxtrix is comprised of a large number of excited clients and a growing community of practitioners. There are also over four hundred Access Technicians in the country..

Many thanks to Dr. Veltheim for doing the public talk and to all of the practitioners and students in Kenya!
